Missionary Don Randall, Sr. had invited us to come and be with the new work he is starting in Camp Verde, Az. way back in the month of July when we were together at the Mohave Baptist Church picnic. Well we had made plans earlier that had to be rescheduled but were finally able to coincide our trip with that of Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful opportunity to be with Brother Randall, Sr, and family and the new work at Lighthouse Baptist Church. An interesting bit of tidbit for those who follow closely - Missionary Don Randall, Sr. has been supported by our home church, the Cozaddale Baptist Temple for 30+- years! Kind of neat that missionary giving has come full circle. Of course Sr. is also dad to Don Randall, Jr. who pastors Mohave Baptist Church.
Sunday, December 2nd, we had our early CHRISTmas Fellowship here at the work in Magdalena. We have a couple of families who will be out of town for a few weeks so it worked best to get a jump on the planning. Peggy went all out and fixed a traditional "Thanksgiving" meal and the families of the work added to that. We had a very good day and everyone had plenty to eat. The morning message was from Isaiah 1:19 "I Want to Eat of the Good of the Land".
